We take some of the best minds in catering - removing them from their generic restaurants to turn them into high-end firepit masters. They're technically brilliant, but their primary tools are flames.

We run a full-service event team that takes care of absolutely everything. And because we know everyone's needs are different, we champion a completely bespoke approach. We adapt our kitchen to your location, giving you the freedom to host—whether that’s a black-tie banquet in a swanky venue, or an unforgettable feast in your own backyard. If there is space for a tent, we can bring the heat.

We only use only sustainably sourced fuels for our fires, and source from local suppliers across the Southwest to guarantee the highest quality, ethically-sourced ingredients. We don't just use ingredients; we celebrate their provenance.

Even our waste management is innovative, using vermiculture systems to process all of our organic and office waste.

Meet Jack & The Team 

Hi! I'm Jack. I'm a bit eccentric when it comes to food.

 

My job is ensuring your food is epic, and I believe the dining experience is just as important as the food itself. Food brings us together, and I am passionate about connecting people over delicious meals with warmth, connection, and celebration.

 

My passion for this craft has taken me all over the globe, honing my skills in every possible scenario. This ranges from world famous, meticulous eateries to back-alley street food stalls in distant lands. Notably, I've had the immense privilege of feeding gourmet cuisine to events of up to 400 people cooking over a rusty burnt-out wheelbarrow with an old fridge back panel grate on top in a particularly peculiar spot (please note, Team Embers operate with a bit more sophistication). This is why I say: everything and anything is possible.

 

I created Smoking Embers to celebrate this passion, and I am privileged to work with a team of like-minded professionals who are just as passionate about making events awesome.

 

I personally guarantee the joy we pour into our work will translate into the most memorable and delicious celebration.
